Refund Policy
Last Updated: 04/01/2026
Thank you for choosing The Deputie by Vigilantie Music. We want every user to have a positive experience with our software. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and billing adjustments are handled.
1. Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial to evaluate The Deputie before any charges are applied. During the trial period, you may explore the full functionality of the app at no cost. If you do not wish to continue, simply cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
If the trial is not canceled before the 7-day period expires, your selected subscription plan will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged accordingly.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription charges are generally non-refundable once billed. By subscribing to a monthly plan, you acknowledge and agree that each monthly payment is final upon processing.
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain full access to The Deputie through the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be applied after cancellation takes effect.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a refund only within 14 days of the initial purchase. If you are not satisfied within this window, you may request a full refund by contacting our support team.
After the 14-day period has passed, annual subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you cancel an annual subscription after this period, your access will remain active until the end of the current annual billing cycle.
4. Exceptions
Even outside the standard refund windows described above, refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges — If your payment method was charged more than once for the same billing period, we will refund the duplicate amount.
- Billing errors — If an incorrect amount was charged due to a system or processing error, we will correct the charge and issue a refund for the difference.
- Verified technical issues — If a technical problem prevented you from accessing or using The Deputie and the issue could not be resolved by our support team, you may be eligible for a refund.
All exception-based refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
5. Renewals and Cancellation
Subscription renewals — whether monthly or annual — are generally non-refundable. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel prior to the renewal date.
Canceling your subscription stops future billing only. Cancellation does not retroactively refund charges for the current or any prior billing period. You will continue to have access to The Deputie until the end of your paid period.
To cancel your subscription, visit your account settings or contact us directly.
6. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the terms outlined above, please contact our support team with the following information:
- Your full name and account email address
- The date and amount of the charge in question
- A brief description of the reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond as promptly as possible.
7. Contact / Support
If you believe you were charged in error or experienced a verified technical issue preventing access, please contact support for assistance.
